Yes, it is work, but think of it as being in the heart of the action, and as a learning experience! Haven't purchased tickets yet? Checking out items for the silent auction? We are six days away from Fiesta Global! Doors open at six p.m. this Saturday, April 30th. There will be food, glorious food, wonderful music and many items to bid on. We haven't had the opportunity to say "Thank You" for your donations, because the computer crashed. Now that we're back up and running, we just want to say we appreciate all of the donations received. You can check out what we have,(and some items are repeat favorites: a exclusive parking spot on Loomis Place; the opportunity to walk Yale's sports mascot, the bulldog known as "Handsome Dan" or have portraits made, either by camera or by hand)by going to the links section on the right side of this page, and click on 'see auction items'. In case you haven't heard,you can sign up to volunteer under the same link and also purchase tickets there.

*DING* *DING*...you know the sound that comes from your mobile device which reminds you of an appointment? Well, imagine it going off right now to remind you that Tuesday, the 19th, is the last day to donate items for FIESTA GLOBAL!, the annual spring fundraiser. Consider something fun, which has bought you joy and you're now willing to share with others, be it dinner at your favorite restaurant, an art or music lesson with a cherished instructor, or something that pleases the eye. Donating is simple! Look to your right on this page under 'links', and click on 'auction forms to donwload'. Want to donate an item, but don't have any idea as to what to give? Again, under the 'links' column, click on 'see auction items' and there are pictures and descriptions of items up for bid.

Volunteering, Anyone?

You've been thinking about what you could contribute to Fiesta Global? What about your time? Its a perfect way to donate what helps make the evening run so smoothly--helping with set-up/break down; checking in guests, making sure that the entertainment performs to the minute. And, you're right smack dab in the middle of alll the action. Signing up is simple; just look to your right on this page. See the links catergory? You can click there on "Sign up to help using Volunteer Spot." It's that simple. C'mon! We'd love to have you!

We're Doing What the IRS Won't..

We're giving you an EXTENSION! It just so happens that this year you have until April 18th to file your taxes and this year, FIESTA GLOBAL is giving you until next Tuesday the 19th,to donate your item, or items,to the Foote School's Annual Spring Fundraiser. As you may know from years past, one of the evening's highlights is the auction, and your contribution makes that happen. So many of us lead such busy lives that sometimes, even when events are'penciled in' , we still miss them! So, since you're already on the page, just look to your right and under links, click on "auction forms to download". Take advantage of our extenstion to donate your item, and watch your 'contribution' help Foote School grow!

April 15th

Most of the time, April 15th means one thing--dare I say it?--taxes ! But this year, at least, it stands for another significant deadline: the last day to donate an auction item to Fiesta Global! Its very simple: just go to the column on the right, and under 'links', click on auction forms to download, fill it out and turn it in to the Main Office. That's all. And take the time to peruse the auction link,as we'll will start adding more items there on a daily basis, so you'll have an idea as to what items are available. After all, its a great way to use that tax refund.

Finally...

The weather is warming up! As it is said in "Annie",..."there'll be SUN!!!!"

We hope you got a warm, sunny feeling when your invitation arrived for "Fiesta Global!" As you've heard, its this year's theme for the annual spring fundraiser at Foote. Billed as a "Parent's Night Out" (oh, yeah!), it will be featuring-as always-good food, a great "mercardo"( that's marketplace for those of us brushing up on our Espanol), and some fantastic latin rhythms! And don't forget--you can check out some auction items here, and if you don't have your tickets yet, you can purchase them right here...Viva La Fiesta-Viva Foote!

Save the date for Foote’s annual spring fundraising evening. This year, the theme will be ¡Fiesta Global! with savory foods and refreshing Latino libations. And just like last year, there will be both a silent and live auction, along with exuberant live entertainment. Enjoy a parent’s night out!
